It is a good thing that James Maliszewski doesn't have the loyal fan base that these guys are trying to defend, otherwise YDIS would be loaded with ass hats.
Have you seen some of the comments on YDIS, and the names of the posters? They fight and bash one another instead of the blog.
So beware, comment with something Sauna thinks is going to hurt him, he will cut and paste it in as a new comment, with his twist.
It appears that Sauna has removed the Grumpy blog. For the record, he did have some (reasonably) decent posts and could be somewhat amusing at times. The biggest problem was his cruel and vulgar way of dragging individuals through the mud, people who were not trying to cause trouble, but merely happened to accidentally annoy Sauna. His blog invited conflict and that was unfortunate. I have mixed feelings over it all, because I think if he had been able to moderate himself, he might have had a decent blog. He seemed to be trying to embody the persona of the vulgar, grumpy old relative who says ridiculous things, but occasionally says something insightful. The problem is almost nobody likes that person and even his relatives can't stand him most of the time because he is mean, rude and stirs up trouble. I can't help feeling glad that the blog is gone, but part of me regrets the lost opportunity. I hope that perhaps Sauna has learned something from all this and if he ever takes up blogging again, would show more wisdom in what he writes.
